Jamz & Jokes Volunteer Waiver & Release of Liability
Event: Jamz & Jokes Concert Series

This Volunteer Waiver and Release of Liability (“Agreement”) is entered into by the undersigned volunteer (“Volunteer”) in favor of uCasters X Stream Media Foundation, Inc., Jamz & Jokes, its organizers, staff, sponsors, partners, and affiliated organizations.
By volunteering for Jamz & Jokes events, the Volunteer agrees to the following:
Volunteer Participation
The Volunteer understands that participation in Jamz & Jokes events is voluntary and unpaid. Volunteer duties may include but are not limited to:
• Guest assistance
• Event setup and breakdown
• Information booth support
• Family activity areas
• Crowd guidance and general event support
Volunteer assignments may vary depending on event needs.
Assumption of Risk
The Volunteer understands that participating in event activities may involve certain risks including, but not limited to:
• Standing or walking for extended periods
• Working in outdoor weather conditions
• Lifting or moving light equipment or materials
• Being present in large crowd environments
The Volunteer voluntarily assumes all risks associated with participation.
Release of Liability
The Volunteer agrees to release and hold harmless:
• Jamz & Jokes
• uCasters X Stream Media Foundation, Inc.
• Event organizers
• Staff and volunteers
• Sponsors and partners
• Venue operators
from any and all claims, injuries, damages, or losses that may occur during volunteer activities.
Medical Authorization
The Volunteer understands that Jamz & Jokes does not provide medical insurance coverage for volunteers.
In the event of a medical emergency, the Volunteer authorizes event staff or emergency personnel to obtain necessary medical treatment.
The Volunteer accepts responsibility for any medical costs incurred.
Volunteer Conduct
Volunteers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner while representing Jamz & Jokes.
Volunteers may be removed from their position for:
• Unsafe behavior
• Harassment or misconduct
• Failure to follow event policies
• Intoxication or illegal substance use
Media Release
The Volunteer grants Jamz & Jokes permission to photograph or record their likeness, image, or voice during the event.
These materials may be used for:
• Marketing and promotional purposes
• Social media
• Website content
• Media coverage
No compensation will be provided for such use.
Minors
Volunteers under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
A parent or guardian must sign this agreement on behalf of the minor.
